Laizhou Nissin Manufacturing Co., Ltd. mainly supplies valve rocker arms for Honda's joint venture in China. With a complete process system, the company operates products ranging from precision die-casting, machining, cleaning, press-fitting, press-in to assembly.

Since its foundation, the company has set up an external environmental committee which meets monthly to identify environmental issues that exist within the company and to take remedial measures. As the environmental protection work is increasingly important, the company established a Safety and Health Management Division in April 2011, primarily to further strengthen its safety and environmental protection controls.

In May 2012, a new hazardous waste storage warehouse was built, and the ground floor of the warehouse was treated to prevent seepage, effectively preventing oil from leaking underground. With the launch of the die-casting production line, the company invested in the construction of sewage treatment facilities for the treatment of waste oil and water generated during the die-casting production process. In December 2018, it invested more than RMB 200,000 to purchase a new dust removal equipment remove dust from the exhaust discharged from the gas furnace chimney, allowing the discharged wastewater and exhaust gas of the company to meet the discharge standards. The company was granted the ISO14001 environmental management system certification in 2005, and successively won honorary titles such as "Advanced Unit for Environmental Protection" awarded by Laizhou Environmental Protection Bureau and the Party Working Committee of the Development Zone. In June 2012, the then general manager of the company was awarded the title “Top 10 Model Figure of Environmental Protection” by the Laizhou government.

In the future, our work will focus on becoming a low CO2 emission enterprise and boosting publicity activities to increase environmental awareness. Through investigations on the use of electricity, gas, tap water, oil, and paper in each department of the company, and by learning from all sectors of society and customers about excellent examples of CO2 reduction, we urge each department to make their own reduction plans and schemes, and monitor the progress in a timely manner. In terms of publicity, in order to raise the environmental awareness of all employees, we plan to carry out four environmental publicity activities of different forms each year within the company, which is designed to let everyone understand the importance of environmental protection. We also plan to cooperate with relevant local departments or enterprises to carry out non-profitable environmental protection activities that are beneficial to the local environment.
